Ingredients
4 cucumbers, thinly sliced into slices
1 small onion, thinly sliced into strips
1 cup white vinegar
½ cup water
¾ cup white sugar
1 tbsp. chopped dill
1 tbsp. crushed red pepper, optional
Directions
In a large bowl, toss sliced cucumbers and onions until evenly mixed. Over medium heat, combine water, vinegar and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and carefully pour over the cucumber and onion mixture. Mix in dill and red pepper. Toss mixture until evenly distributed. Cover and chill for at least one hour before serving.
