Thanks to Lauren Conrad, we present the wedding guest list guidelines. Creating a guest list for your wedding can be tough! You want the world to celebrate in your union, but you also don’t want to break the bank.
When it comes to friends, answer this – when was the last time you sat down with this person and had a meal together? Has it been more than 2 years? Then they probably shouldn’t be invited. This rule helps separate the close friends from the friends you may have lost touch with.
So what are the guidelines for those close friends and their “plus one”? Consider these stipulations: married, engaged or long-term relationship. Stick hard and true to those stipulations but if you have wiggle room, throw a bone to a single friend who doesn’t have any other friends attending. If someone is single and knows everyone or even family, a plus-one isn’t a must.
Of all the things you have to do to plan a wedding, creating a guest list can be stressful, but this helps you keep a tight guest list that helps you stay on budget!
