Is anyone else getting as excited for this weekend as we are? Our veins are pumping with American pride, and All Occasion Catering is ready to fire up the grill!
Some of our favorite Fourth of July traditions include time with family and friends, (safely) shooting fireworks and eating the all-American classics. It’s a time to reflect on the freedoms our forefathers fought for and a time to think about the men and women in uniform who are currently making sacrifices to maintain our freedom. Celebrating our freedom is what this holiday is all about, and that celebrating includes our right to grill. While we encourage hot dog and hamburger consumption, we also highly recommend taking the time to reach out to the veterans in your life and the ones you love. You can volunteer at veteran shelters and charity organizations, make a donation in honor of a veteran or loved one who is serving, or invite a veteran over as a guest of honor at your cook-out. And if you see a veteran or soldier in uniform, say a heart-felt “Thank you.”
So fire up the grill, wave those flags with American pride and enjoy the freedom and liberty we have today!
