Thanks to Missy Emory and her fabulous team, we had a fantastic Friday night at First Baptist Concord for Concord Christian School’s Fundraising Dinner and Silent Auction.
The room was set up with tables displaying fun and creative items ready to be auctioned off. Each table was “western looking” with décor such as hay, horseshoes, bandanas, baskets, berries, and wagons. Various vendors from the Knoxville area hosted the tables and donated the auction items. We had a blast coming up with creative ways to display the appetizers as well as the buffet line while keeping with the western theme of the night.
With Chocolate Brown and Khaki linens provided by All Occasions Party Rentals, and our red & blue bandanas, the room looked like a real western ho-down. All Occasion Catering Staff wore denim blue jeans, cowboy boots, bandanas, and cowboy hats to go along with theme of the fundraiser.
We started the night with passed appetizers including smoked chicken quesadillas, taco bites, and sweet potato fries. Following the appetizers, we opened the buffet line for guests to enjoy Hickory Smoked Beef Brisket, Charbroiled Grilled Chicken, Baked Beans, Corn Soufflé, Fried Okra, and our ever famous Twice Baked Potato Casserole. Finally, guests finished off a delicious meal with our Homemade Banana Pudding and assorted Fruit Cobblers; all topped with vanilla ice cream.
Thank you to all who made Concord Christian School’s Fundraising Dinner and Silent Auction a huge success! We look forward to working with you all again in the future!
