- BEFORE – send out invitations and try to personalize them. Then, get to planning and send them at least 4 weeks in advance. This gives your guests plenty of time to either make plans for it or to RSVP otherwise.
- DURING – make sure not to get lost in the crowd or lost in a conversation. Make your guests feel as if you wanted each and every one of them there. A quick ‘hello’ or ‘thank you for being here’ is okay if you’ve planned a larger party.
- AFTER – send ‘thank you’ notes to the guests who attended. It shows that you not only paid attention to their attendance but also appreciated it.
