Don’t get us wrong, weddings are fun no matter the season. There’s just something about fall and winter weddings that have a magical aspect to them.
The colors: The environment of falling leaves and darkened trees create a vibrant, earthy aura. Paired with the right wedding colors, bridal party photos turn out gorgeous every time. Tennessee has four seasons – meaning four opportunities to capitalize on a changing backdrop.
The weather: Outdoor weddings provide a new level of stress that is easily squashed by a seasonal indoor wedding. No need to worry about guests being too cold or too hot, the wind blowing chairs over or rain soaking your outfit.
The travelling: Airfare, traveling and hotel prices are spiked over the summer because of the increase in summer vacationers. This makes attendance less of a stress on guests.
The timing: Fall and winter weddings aren’t typically considered during “wedding season.” This means guests are less likely to gather wedding fatigue from multiple invitations.
The menus: Wedding menus during the cooler months are easier to dabble into holiday foods like soups, baked ham or roasted turkey. Sweet flavors like pumpkin, pecan and apple decorate our menus. Mulled wine and champagne are great winter drinks to add to our bartending services.
