On February 7, we were honored to accept the Knoxville Chamber’s 2020 Pinnacle Impact Award. This award is given annually to an East Tennessee non-charitable business that demonstrates a commitment to improving community conditions in a way that makes a significant impact on our region.
When it comes to community, we believe in giving back. One of the core values we live and breathe is “supporting causes and missions that are important to us and our employees.” We encourage employee involvement and strive to uplift our co-workers in everyday life.
Through the adoption of this philosophy, we have been privileged to work with some truly incredible ministries and organizations in Knoxville and surrounding areas including: Angelic Ministries, ChildHelp TN, Emerald Youth Foundation, Fulton High School’s Comprehensive Development Class, Honor Air Veteran’s Appreciation Event, Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries (KARM), Knoxville Chamber Partnership AM Exchange, Knoxville Opera Company, ‘Serving Those Who Protect Day,’ and Shady Grove United Methodist Church.
Whether it’s through donating food for the Emerald Youth Foundation’s annual breakfast fundraiser, contributing meals for KARM to feed the homeless in our community, or providing breakfast for veterans at Honor Air Veteran’s Appreciation event, we truly enjoy engaging with and aiding our community.
All Occasion Catering owner Neal Green says it best. “Our business is a part of the fabric of Knoxville – serving Southern cuisine and fan favorites to people from all walks of life gives our work purpose and meaning. We consider it both a duty and a privilege to give back. And what better way than by sharing our bounty of wonderful food?”
In addition, it has been our heartfelt pleasure to help individuals learn kitchen and life skills through KARM’s Abundant Life Kitchen Training Program and Angelic Ministry’s work program. Our love for service has also led us to teach students from Fulton High School’s Comprehensive Development Class kitchen and life skills 4 days a week in our catering kitchen. Our employees value the interaction and we’re all fulfilled by the opportunity to impact the lives of these students.
We understand that when we give the gift of food, we lift people up. When we give the gift of education, we are investing in the future of Knoxville, and when we give the gift of time, we are feeding our souls.
And last, but not least we thank each and every customer who has supported our business over the years, as that has directly contributed to our ability to serve those in need. We are so grateful for this award and look forward to continuing to have a lasting impact on our community.
